You can definitely choose a fancy hotel if you want, but for families and couples, I highly recommend staying at Ocean Spa Hotel. It’s kid-friendly, not too big, and feels more intimate and less crowded compared to larger resorts. The staff are friendly and helpful. The food isn’t amazing, but it’s decent—plus, you’ll likely be out exploring most of the day anyway, so splurging on a luxury hotel might not be necessary. Upon arrival, the hotel provided airport pickup, which was very convenient. After checking in, we went to the reception to pay the government tax/fees. Then the concierge collected some details for a mandatory presentation.
