We just got back from this resort yesterday and let me just say we really enjoyed ourselves. However, a couple of things to consider when choosing this resort. One being that this resort is very hot everywhere you go except for your rooms which you can control the temperature. There will be no AC in the lobby, barely any AC at the restaurants. Feels like no AC at all except for the Italian which was still hot but not 90 degrees other restaurants and Lobby area. I am not sure what it’s like during the cooler months but summer, it was BRUTAL! Secondly, the entertainment was good but the girls wore really skimpy clothes and made us feel uncomfortable bringing our little children to go see it. They had the women wearing thongs basically with no leggings. Men taking off their shirts a Micheal Jackson. I think the hotel really tries to cater to families and I see about 90 percent of guests are families with young children so this was definitely a miss for the audience that were there. The shows were good other than the outfit and them trying to be too sexy unnecessarily. Lastly, there was huge seaweed issue At this resort. No fault of the hotel but you have to walk over a seaweed hill to get to the ocean water which also had a bunch seaweed floating in it. The decomposing seaweed did give off a very fishy smell and was unpleasant. My kids still went anyway. You can still go in the water it was just not as pleasant with the mountain of seaweed. Other than that we still enjoyed ourselves because the food was good and the staff were all very friendly like the other reviews mentioned. Frankie from entertainment was really friendly. My daughter even made him a drawing but we couldn’t find him on our last day to give the gift. Overall, it was still well worth the money to go to this resort. We will be back. Maybe when it will be cooler in the winter.
