First time visiting, and definitely not the last. It’s hard to describe how well the accommodations and staff helped to make a much needed vacation one to remember. I can’t really speak to the ease of access to the other parts of that area because we barely even left the hotel. Sitting by the pool and getting offered to have drinks brought down to you from the delicious restaurant makes it feel like a luxury experience even if it isn’t advertised that way. The food was delicious, and there were enough choices even with one of us being a vegetarian. Again, all of the restaurant staff were 5 star worthy. Even the grounds keeper offered me and my partner fresh coconuts he was trimming from the trees and opened them for us. I highly recommend getting a room with a balcony if you can. It was really nice being able to sit outside and relax when the pool area was a little extra busy or privacy was wanted. The stair walk in to town wasn’t that bad, but the hotel and walking to town are not accessibility friendly. You would need to take a taxi to town if you are even just a little unsteady on your feet. Again, for us it wasn’t a downside at all, but definitely something to be aware of. Overall, much deserving of the five stars and I do hope to return some day.
