I think people expect to pay an affordable price, while receiving a more costly experience. We have traveled to a few places that were nearly double the cost, for about the same level of quality. Our room was clean, though there seemed to never be enough towels for our whole family. The pool was nice, we have been spending most of our time there. The beach has quite a bit of sea weed, but that is just nature and entirely out of the control of the hotel. The food, while limited in options for families, was different every day and there was something for everyone in our family to enjoy. The only thing I have to complain about is the dessert options. No one in my family would touch the cake, it was truly gross. Especially when they would soak it in milk to rehydrate it. Which would theoretically be okay, but there was something off about the flavour. Overall, everyone was super friendly. My family was happy and well fed. We got massages from the spa and it was wonderful. Honestly, if you want a more high quality resort, pay for it. This is simple. This is a slightly older resort, but a beautiful spot and we were happy the entire time. A few small inconveniences are still worth the price and experience in my opinion.
