This resort was very good. It is in good, not perfect condition and the grounds/pool/beach area are excellent. The staff are plentiful and always looking to help - a real strength of the property. The food is pretty good. It takes a couple of days to learn the ropes as in - make your dinner reservation the previous morning and the Cevicheria (excellent) is only open 9-5. The beach is wide but not great for swimming as it goes down steeply to the water and there is a shore break. Also, we got a $250 resort credit but it turned out to be $50 per day. This may have been an Expedia issue. Also, should say that the pool is good for little ones. No contruction noise as some have commented on.
