This is my third time staying here. The first two times went ok. However this time we came with a larger group and it was disappointing enough I can’t recommend it. -We requested our rooms be next to each other. I understand it’s a busy time and hard to accommodate, but we were given 3 units in all different buildings, with the farthest two being a 10 min walk apart. It was then super annoying to walk past the many empty units next to our room. If that kind of service or attention to detail is important to you, this is not the place for you. -rooms didn’t reflect what was booked. One had an open loft bedroom (they do list this room type on website and we specifically didn’t book this) and one was a house very far from the beach (not the ocean view we booked). -the suites were not just dated but poorly maintained. Severe mildew smell bathrooms, baths that both did not plug up yet didn’t drain, leaky showerhead that dripped the entire time, the sliding glass door to the backyard had to be forced open every time, poor internet, no cooking supplies, etc. There was heavy road noise in one unit (many units in poipu have some noise but this was extreme). None of the 3 units had anything for the beach besides one umbrella. -given one loads worth of laundry detergent and only a few rolls of toilet paper. Other condos I’ve stayed had supplies for the week. -you need your one pool key to get OUT of the pool area. Made it hard to split up in a group. You also only have access to 1 pool onsite and can’t use the others. -as other people mentioned here, the fees are HEFTY. Pay a bit more to stay somewhere else.
