Guests return to Wyndham Governor's Green in Williamsburg for its blend of manicured tranquility and family fun just minutes from the colonial historic district. The vibe is relaxed and residential where you can spread out in massive suites with full kitchens. Staff are praised for being helpful and quick to fix issues though savvy visitors know to firmly decline the optional sales presentation upon arrival. The real hidden gem is the fantastic onsite mini golf course which rivals professional ones nearby.
Our room was a bit out-dated compared to most Wyndham Resorts. Thin walls and floors. We heard every single step our upstairs neighbors took! We heard there shower water, bath water, their conversations.... terrible! Our water took FOREVER to get hot. Maybe because our upstairs neighbors were constantly taking showers, baths or using the washer? They close all the pools when it rains, including the indoor pool. That made no sense to us. The people are very nice and responsive and the location is great, but some improvements are definitely needed. We have been club owners for over 10 years and this is my first bad review.
