My husband, his family, and I spent a week here and overall, it was a decent experience. The area is gorgeous, especially for hiking and biking, with beautiful views just a short walk, bike ride, or drive from the hotel. I really enjoyed the hot tub—it was very relaxing. However, the pool was a bit cold, so if you're visiting during the off-season, just be prepared. They allow two cars per unit, and while they say a third is allowed only if space is available (first-come, first-served), I felt there was plenty of parking overall. There were a few things I didn’t like. For example, if your room accommodates 4 or 6 people, they only provide one towel per person. If you need an extra towel for any reason, you likely won’t get one. At the pool and hot tub area, towels are available, but you can't take them back to your room. So, if you go swimming during colder months, be prepared to walk back wet unless you bring your own towel or dry clothes to change into. One nice touch: the office always had hot chocolate available, which was a treat. If you enjoy games, they have a few near the gym like shuffleboard, air hockey, and foosball. A few things to note for future guests: there are no oven mitts, so if you plan on baking, bring your own. They also only provide one roll of toilet paper per bathroom, so you might want to bring extra. On the plus side, they do provide shampoo, conditioner, body wash, and hand lotion. If you're planning to cook during your stay, they have some kitchen supplies, but not everything you might need—so it's smart to bring a few essentials. Also, each unit has its own grill, which is perfect if you enjoy barbecuing.
