Guests love the Villas at Disneyland Hotel in Anaheim for its seamless blend of attentive service and mid-century nostalgia. Located just steps from Downtown Disney, this resort feels like a sophisticated, tropical retreat where staff are consistently welcoming and quick to assist with any request. The atmosphere is bright and magical, celebrating Disney animation history without being overwhelming. A frequent insider favorite is the Murphy bed—unlike typical hotel sofa sleepers, guests rave that it is shockingly comfortable, often sparking family debates over who gets to sleep on it.
It’s hard to find anything negative to say about our experience at The Villas at Disneyland Hotel. Yes, it’s possibly on the pricier end of things for what we’re used to at the other parks. But you certainly get your moneys worth! (…If you’re wondering if it’s worth the price, I encourage you to go for it! It’s an experience you won’t regret!!!) The rooms are well designed, with thoughtful themed touches, and the staff are friendly, helpful and professional. We originally booked the basic Duo Studio room type and were offered a complimentary upgrade to a larger Deluxe Studio room (pictured). Having stayed at multiple properties at Disney World and Disneyland Paris, this hotel takes the honour of being by far and away the most luxurious we’ve ever stayed at. While Disney properties are usually well maintained and serviced, sometimes certain features feel a little worn and dated (particularly the bathrooms). However, this could not be less the case here! The bathroom was very generously sized, modern and stylish and the separate toilet closet was a welcome touch. And the beds were very comfortable! Also, with The Villas being affiliated with DVC you’re sure to feel like a VIP all vacation long! So if you’re reading this Mickey, well done pal!
