Since I took a lot of time to fill out a survey sent via email, only to be met with a software error upon submitting.....here I am. If you are looking for a relaxing spa like weekend, this is NOT THE PLACE. The Spa services are costly. The rooms are not cheap. The Live Music makes this an entirely odd experience. The Good - 1- Rosa at the front desk, basically saved my nightmare check-in process. 2- The second room I checked into was more updated. Except for the trash that was left in the garbage can, it was a nice room. 3- The grounds are beautiful. Staff overall were friendly. The Bad- 1- The construction crane on the lawn. 2- The construction crane on Sunday morning before 8am fixing something on the roof. 3- The wooden boards all over the lawn due to construction. 4- The check-in person telling me if i checked out (20 min. after I checked in) I'd lose my deposit. 5- The keys to my second room not working. After I dragged all my luggage to the lower level and down a long hallway. 6- There being no phone in the hallway to call the front desk to let me in. 7- Being on hold for about 10 min waiting to talk to someone, so they can bring me new keys. 8- Once being let in the room, finding a garbage can that wasn't empty in the kitchen. 9- After finally unpacking - ordering room service. The food was bland, pricey and delivered in a plastic bag. Containers tipped over and some open. Atrocious for $75. 10- The LIVE MUSIC can be heard in every room facing the pool and lake area. Your best bet is to book a parking lot view room. And the music goes till 11pm.
