The building and space is beautiful and the location is fantastic. Maybe we are not used to Scotland, but this "full amenities accommodation" has only the facility, furniture and linens. We had to purchase every single item, even salt for cooking. We had to make several trips to the supermarket because we assumed there would be a few things on hand. Typically people leave some groceries when traveling and the host should leave those items at the short term rental. For the price, this would seem fair. We were greeted with a bag on the kitchen table containing toilet cleaner, toilet paper and paper towels. Here are some ideas for the host, salt, pepper, tea, coffee, sugar packets, laundry soap, cooking oil. The description mentioned that BBQ grills would be available. We did not find one, after some research we found that they can be rented. Probably need to buy coal etc. We purchased food for the bbq grills that were not there. Overall it was nice but it could have been very very nice.
