My life is in hotels and while this one was fantastic for location and basic cleanliness, I wouldn’t recommend it. Refurbishment means cold breakfast and little place to serve or eat it - but that was in the minuscule print which I missed - my bad?! However 2 fused non- functioning lamps upon arrival in the room, no working telephone or TV meant it was not a space to spend time for anything other than sleep & bath. There must be better places in beautiful Edinburgh at this time. The Manager did come out when I asked but it was a routine, clipped response with little empathy or care for a customer who has been requesting repair/ service for 3 days.
