Wedding day ruined as our guests got robbed on wedding night. What a shame for this place, we cant recommend it to anyone unfortunately, as it has ruined our wedding day experience forever. Guests from overseas have travelled to celebrate with us only to get robbed as this hotel doesn't have the right safety measured on board. They had no safe in the room to lock your belongings, only 1 security guard to patrol the whole area, very easy to break in through windows and doors as they are old and unsafe. Our wedding guests were robbed of money, engagement rings, passports, expensive clothes and shoes. The whole experience felt like an inside job, as they went at a time where they knew we were going to be away at our wedding venue up the hill. The manager of this resort is a disgrace, TRACY DE BREUN yes. She has stopped answering all emails, communication, has not reimbursed the guests of their losses, has taken no steps after this has happened, besides "pretending"to listen and then ghosting us. CLOSE THIS PLACE DOWN AND ENSURE IT'S SAFETY. You have absolutely ruined our wedding night, with multiple of our guests having to leave in the middle of the night to get to other accomodations and look for their things. Not only that, but the groom had to come there and see what happened leaving his own wedding. Management doesnt care at all.
