Four Seasons Racquet Club is hands down one of my favorite places! The atmosphere is always welcoming, and the community feel sets it apart from some of the more corporate clubs in the area. The coaches are fantastic, and the staff is super friendly and helpful. Shannon, the program director, is amazing—she’s always on top of everything and is such a reliable go-to, especially as the club goes through transitions with new ownership and changes. Whether I’m there for a lesson, a match, or just to hit around, I always leave feeling energized and excited to come back. If you’re looking to get more involved in the local tennis scene, I recommend joining the Wilton and Surrounding Tennis Players Facebook group. With over 600 local members, it’s a great place to find people to play with, get information on tennis events, and connect with players of all levels. Whether you’re looking for casual matches, competitive games, or tips on local tennis programs, it’s a great resource to expand your tennis network. Some of my favorite pros: • Cat Gheorghe is my go-to coach. He’s incredibly intuitive, observant, and specific in his coaching style. His approach blends strategy, form, and mental stamina in a way that’s both effective and motivating. He has a unique way of keeping me grounded and focused—sometimes even better than my therapist! • Greg Moran is the perfect coach if you’re looking to improve your form and technique. He has a systematic approach that helps break bad habits and build consistent, successful strokes. His energy and ability to command the court make every session productive and fun. • Rob Rios is great for players looking to sharpen their accuracy and precision. His structured, sensory-focused coaching style helps you become more aware of the details that can elevate your game. His methodical approach leads to noticeable improvements through challenging, repetitive drills. • Shaun Harrington runs most of the club’s point plays and cardio tennis classes. He brings both tennis expertise and a background in strength and conditioning, which helps players improve their game while preventing injury. Shaun is universally loved for his fun, approachable coaching style and positive energy. His sessions are always engaging and fast-paced, creating the perfect mix of fitness and tennis. • Mike Slattery is fantastic with junior players, creating a fun and engaging environment while teaching essential skills. He’s patient, encouraging, and great at keeping young players motivated. • Chris Damone runs the USTA practices and is excellent at teaching the competitive side of tennis. He focuses on strategy—how to approach matches to maximize your chances of winning, as well as the mental side of the game. He gives great tips on what to say (and not say) to maintain confidence and composure while getting inside your opponent’s head in a positive, sportsmanlike way. Chris is always in a great mood and genuinely excited to be on the court, which makes his sessions both fun and motivating. Four Seasons has something for everyone, from beginners to experienced players, and the sense of community makes it a place I always look forward to visiting. I highly recommend it to anyone looking to play tennis in a fun, supportive environment!
