We booked through our TimeShare and this was a mini holiday to celebrate as our daughters were both finishing their degrees. This was the only option in Eastern Canada (I presume this is due to the situation in the States). We knew the resort was not a Tremblant and it was not going to be a 5 star. I was actually pleasantly surprised when I saw that there was some improvements made (from the limited pics on the Interval International Website). That being said, after our 10 hour drive in teaming rain, we wanted to have a drink and turn the fire place on BUT there was no battery in the remote. We couldn't turn on the TV as the remote was physically broken and the downstairs TV remote also had no battery. While we were heating our dinner in the microwave, the circuit was overloaded (and not because we had the TV and the fireplace going) and needed to hunt around for the panel. As well, the blind in one of the bedrooms would not turn to keep the light out in the morning. I called reception to seek help in correcting these issues. I was told to call back in the morning. I did. The receptionist said "I will try to get someone there." We left a detailed note on the table. We did not wait around but when returned at the end of the day. There was no evidence that any corrections had been made. Apart from the in unit issues, there should be a map.
