Stayed here with the family (twins 3 1/2 years old) in spacious family suite late May. The owner and one young staff very friendly, the interaction relaxed. The beds comfortable. However it was quite cold weather and the rooms were cold and a bit moist. The heating could not be influenced by us. The shower also only dribbled. That was disappointing. Breakfast was quite generous and fresh, but you’re sitting on plastic chairs with perfunctory cloth covers which really doesn’t fit with the beautiful chateau atmosphere. Some of the furniture in the rooms was also more makeshift and didn’t do the house justice. The grounds are beautiful and well kept. Overall we felt it was more of a good BnB rather than the regal chateau it portrays, and at over EUR 450 per night plus breakfast we expected more comfort especially regarding the heating.
