I had stayed at many Mom & Pop motel where the owner had taken pride in the property. Unfortunately, this is not one of them. When I saw the exterior of the property - I thought the taxi driver has the wrong address. The moment I open my door to my room I was welcomed with a cool burst of an air-conditioned room and it smells very clean and fresh. From there on is all downhill- the kitchenette has NO microwave oven, or sink. Just a broken room safe sit on top of the counter for the world to see. Plus a mini refrigerator. The bathroom is a nightmare itself from poor maintenance issues; sink faucet and shower are corroded - water shots everywhere but down. The bathtub drains very slow and the shower goes from cold to hot when you shower on their own. The ceramic tile flooring throughout the room and also the bathroom are nice and chipped and cracked. Popcorn ceiling was the rave of its time back in the 70s.- but now full of dust from years has gone by. You can see this property used to be nice at once upon a time. Now it's dated and neglected. It's one step to be classified as a Roach Motel.
