I will try to keep this short. Stayed for 7 days Monday to Monday. Starting with the rooms, First I was upstairs for 5 days, then the weekend spent downstairs. The rooms are not that great they have not been maintained well. They don't clean the units properly as well. The showers are dirty, and I'm not even going to go into the baths. The shower leaks and makes a mess to the point where one time, the shower head went out, and I had to screw it back in! There is no wifi even though you see WiFi extenders they are all off. The only time you have wifi is when you are near the pool or reception. No complimentary coffee or tea either. The service is absolutely bad. For example, the rules are and are stated on the walls that facilities (game room, jacuzzi, etc) work from 10am to 10pm. If you want to book the steam room or jacuzzi at times, I would book for 9pm the reception will lie and say they closed. When someone else asked that we knew they were told 9:30. The steam room doesn't even work. The jacuzzi on the first 3 days was not even on, then it was in for two days where it was on and warm, then the other few days not on. Also, they limit you to using the jacuzzi and whatnot for 30 minutes, but no one is monitoring this, so most people would not even book and stay there for 1 - 3 hours. Management is not there every day. To the point where I called the manager (who's name is Sheldon, by the way) to express my concerns, he told me, "It's not my problem." If that's not horrible service, I don't know what is. The only okay thing was the place is close to most places you want to go to in Umhlanga. So the location is not bad. Some it up, the stay was really bad.
