It's great to be within walking distance of Heavenly ski lifts, but it would be nice if there were sidewalks. If you’re not a skier and don’t have a car, this area can feel isolated from the happenings of South Lake Tahoe, especially if the shuttle isn’t running. The rooms are modest and comfortable, but could use more attention to minor repairs like leaky faucets and faulty light switches. The pool isn't heated, the hot tub is small, and both are a long walk up the street from the room. For families that still need to work on vacation, faster wifi would be appreciated. Otherwise, it is a quiet place to enjoy a family or couples getaway. The service both over the phone and in person was great in helping us before and during our trip.
