Guests adore the relaxing residential atmosphere at Marriott's Marbella Beach Resort in the quiet Elviria neighborhood. The vibe is distinctly manicured yet welcoming, with staff who are consistently praised for their warmth and ability to arrange everything from tee times to rental cars. Families value the spacious apartments with full kitchens, but the real standout is the on-site Marketplace. It is surprisingly reasonably priced and perfect for stocking up on Spanish wine to enjoy on your private balcony while soaking in the lush garden views.
I've stayed at many Marriott Vacation Club properties in the US. This was my first time staying at one outside the US and it did not disappoint! Both the rooms and the grounds look very similar to any Marriott beach resort you'd find in the US. We spent a week at the resort and thoroughly enjoyed our time there. The grounds are gorgeous with colorful potted plants scattered throughout and impeccable landscaping. We also enjoyed the on-site restaurants. We didn't discover the daily breakfast buffet until later in the week but we wished we had discovered it sooner because it was so good! The resort is located about a 15 minute drive from downtown Marbella, and it's very easy to get around with a car. There are a couple restaurants and shops within walking distance, but most of the local attractions need to be accessed by car. We didn't mind this at all since there's plenty of public parking in downtown Marbella and everywhere else we visited. Highly recommend this resort to anyone looking to visit Spain's southern coast!
