Stayed at this place from 15-22 April 2025. Very basic... Was annoyed that in Durban summer we have to pay for air-conditioning. Cleaning service is much to be desired. Floors and toilets smelled after mopping and washing. Staff walked in twice during Easter period to say they were going off for the weekend, hinting at a tip or gift to be given. After check out we were mailed to say that 15 rands would be deducted from our deposit because a tablespoon was missing. This was almost impossible seeing as we literally used one tablespoon, which I washed daily for cereal and all we did was sleep and shower there before heading out for the days. This seems to be a common occurrence there whereby ppl are accused then charged for hangers missing and other small insignificant stuff. Will not recommend or use this place again.
