I traveled to this establishment with my wife's family who have been investors in the property (timeshare owners) for over 30 years. It's really gone downhill and was a disappointment to everyone to see how everything has changed. When we arrived we had to change apartments three times because the bathrooms were unsanitary (the first one smelled strongly of urine like someone had peed on the floor and it wasn't cleaned up). The unit we finally ended up in continually had a puddle of water accumulating on the bathroom floor (of both bathrooms) around the drains by the toilets whenever we used the shower (which was never able to get hot by the way). The A/C worked well and the kitchen was functional but the pillows and guest beds were very uncomfortable. Throughout the property though there were many things that were broken down or didn't work: a shut down restaurant, a closed pool, many of the pools needed to be cleaned (some were green), the wave pool didn't make waves, and the internet didn't work at all... even in their office it was the worst internet I've come across. On the good side, there was some fun entertainment, the pizza wasn't that bad, and the water slide thing was fun. All in all though, it was not a place we'd be returning to or would recommend to anyone. As I was leaving I found many better options in the area for the next trip. I hope others don't go through the same issues we experienced but I imagine it's quite likely.
