Guests adore the Hyatt Vacation Club At Coconut Cove in the Coconut Plantation neighborhood of Bonita Springs. The atmosphere blends residential comfort with tropical adventure, feeling like an upscale hideaway where families relax in massive villas with sprawling porches. Staff consistently earn praise for warm service that makes the property feel welcoming rather than transactional. While the winding lazy river is a favorite, the real secret is the private water shuttle that carries you to a secluded beach on Big Hickory Island for a peaceful escape.
The resort was very nice getting to it was another story. There is a high rise going up on the way into the resort and it was dusty construction field every day. The pools were a nice feature and kept very clean but there was not a restaurant on the premises. There was a tiki bar and a snack bar. The condo was clean but you could see a lot of Lauren areas in the carpet and in the facility itself. It took three days after our arrival to get a TV working. The coffee maker went out the first day. We called the front desk and it was resolved as quickly as possible. Also, it was not as convenient getting to the Hyatt Regency next-door as we thought it would be which is where you took the ferry to the private island. The surrounding areas of Bonita Springs were very nice and convenient to Fort Myers and Naples. We enjoyed many different restaurants and sightseeing. It probably isn’t a place we would return to. It was not convenient to an open body of water.
