The tower deluxe room was nice. However, it was very costly. They made me move halfway through the stay to another room and offered no compensation. The resort is not near the beach. You can see the Bay from a room on a high floor and they have a pool. Golfers delight. Traverse City has a lot of variety on things to do. There are nice stores and a candy/ice cream shoppe at the resort. Nice bar on the top floor that has views of the bay. Resort is expensive for everything, but you can drive 5 miles to town.
