We liked it so much on the river, that we changed our plans and came back for a second night. The rooms are being renovated and are not perfect, even the renovated ones. The beds are comfortable. The sheets are soft and the view makes up for any imperfections in the room. They have a cute patio with chairs. We stayed on the farthest end towards the bridge the first time and had an amazing view of the river. We saw seals and otters playing in the river just feet away from the shore. Tons of birds. The room was silent when the doors were closed. Even being so close to the road. We didn't hear anything. Our second night instead of two queen beds we got two doubles. The room is much smaller in the double bed room for just $10 difference. I suggest the double Queens 100%. There's a nice restaurant across the street that you can walk to, it is a little fancy and pricey but, not horrible. All of the staff at Jots Resort were pleasant and helpful. We will definitely stay again next time we are in the area.
