This resort really needs to not only upgrade but re-educate their staff on health and hygiene. The first room was aa room that by the smell had experienced water damage. The odor was so thick till it created a health hazard. The next room that we were moved into didn't have a smell but hadn't been cleaned properly by housekeeping. The corners of the rooms were filled with dirt from the prior guest. Stains on the floor which is a clear indicator that housekeeping didn't throughly clean the room. It's very disheartening to travel and pay for less than adequate accommodations. There is no reason for such slack in housekeeping when the property clearly has several housekeeping staff riding around the grounds daily. This is the last time this resort will be a choice for a stay when traveling to this area. Please for the health and safety of your guest make am effort to really clean rooms properly. Nothing worse than contracting something from a resort you choose to stay at that didn't carr enough to make cleanliness a first priority. Maybe The Grove down the road may be a better and more quality choice next trip.
