I still have no idea if this is a 3 star or 4 star hotel. I think it’s more of a 4 star hotel. Yes, the building is old, but the waterfront and everything is beautiful. How they managed everything is very cozy. I adored the location, very close to the town of Huntsville where there are many restaurants that are likely better than the ones in the hotel. Also considerably close to Algonquin. Algonquin was great, and we didn’t really stay around the resort much. Weren’t a lot of activities to do at the resort honestly, given the time of year. Kayaks and canoes are free to use, included in payment, so that was nice!
