First off, staff members, one in specific were rude and apathetic the entire time. We had issues with our apartment and no one seemed to care about it. We checked in at 2:00 and went to settle in our room and firstly the internet wasn't working, the entire modem wasn't showing up to connect at all so we contacted reception about it and they gave us 3 completely different room internet connections all of which didn't work after trying for 15 mins, every password was "invalid" so we called again regarding the issue and we were told "someone will come up in a few minutes" to fix it, another 10mins past and still nothing so we asked how long it'll take as we wanted to go out and they rudely replied "you just have to wait a couple of minutes". We decided to wait and freshen up. An HOUR later, it was 3:00 and no one came up to our room so naturally annoyed we had to go down to reception AGAIN and three staff were just there laughing at reception and when we arrived they just looked at us and we told them "we're still having issues and no one's come up to fix it" and the receptionist just started at us and blandly replied with "oh they didn't come to your room?" And we said no, it's been over an hour and it's still not working and it should've been done before we even checked in. Absolute waste of time and useless service. Secondly the room was disgusting, we found GRAPES all over the apartment, even one squished under the couch!! Absolutely disgusting, it was clear that it wasn't cleaned beforehand as there was bits of food everywhere and hair in our bed. We brought it up with reception and all she said was "no one has access to your room" like what response is that?? It was someone previous to our arrival and we had photos as evidence too. She said she'll send the cleaner up for us to vacuum but we told her not to worry about it cause WE already cleaned it. Furthermore, DO NOT turn on the aircon/heaters they were filled with disgusting black MOLD. Absolutely horrific, you’d think for the price you pay for the place you’d get a decently cleaned room and better service. Please go elsewhere, DO NOT go here just cause it’s slightly cheaper, I wish we spent more on a hotel than going to Beachcomber. And people do have access to our room such as the cleaners and staff as it states that they can enter our room whenever they need to which I find disrespectful and an invasion of privacy, one day we left and when we can back our bed was moved out as well as the side table WITHOUT any notice that people went through our room. The bathroom doesn’t come with basic amenities such as Hand soap, bath mat or paper towel. We had an empty dispenser just there like what?? It’s apparently “extra” for a bath mat despite the shower being a half bath-shower type with a dirty cheap curtain that obviously leaked onto the floor. The bedroom was falsely advertised as well!! The room clearly and ONLY states a “large double bed” when in reality it’s two singles pushed together which was uncomfortable and lined with hair and clearly not cleaned. And there was staff in the room next to us CONSISTENTLY making noise like renovation work all day and night, constantly entering and leaving the room so no privacy or respect for neighbours there too. I implore others to stay elsewhere for your own sake and don’t waste your money on places like this. We have photos as evidence as well as in previous complaints management has been rude, disrespectful and insensitive to other customers. Only decent thing was that it was close to everything, that’s all!!
