Overall, the hotel stay was average, but the property is clearly showing its age and is in need of renovation. Front Desk: Check-in was adequate, though not particularly welcoming or informative. We weren’t given any details about on-site activities, and more importantly, we were not informed that housekeeping services now require a guest request due to a management change. Room: The room itself was decent in terms of layout and comfort, but cleanliness left something to be desired. We noticed small spiders in different areas, and it seemed like housekeeping only took out the trash and changed the sheets. The attention to detail and hospitality expected from a hotel experience was missing. The housekeeping staff appeared overworked and overwhelmed, suggesting they were understaffed or poorly managed. Casino Restaurant: The casino restaurant was a highlight. Both the fish sandwich and burger were fresh and tasty. Gym: The gym was well-maintained and a positive part of the stay. Pool Area: The pool was in good condition, but the service was lacking. Staff were largely unavailable, often seen hiding and using their phones. No one offered a drink menu, and with the pool bars closed, there were no activities or sense of energy in the area. Garage: The parking garage was in terrible shape. The structure appeared damaged, with falling cement on the first level and visible algae and moss in some areas—a clear indication of years of neglect. Although some repair efforts seem to be underway, no real progress is visible. Lobby Construction: Ongoing construction in the lobby was inconvenient and detracted from the overall experience.
