This was not our first time at this resort, but may be my last. We were last there in November, and things have gone downhill since then. Notably- the food. Every menu had changed, and not for the better. The sushi was the worst. Horrible quality, and terribly made. The menu at Sisal, the best restaurant on site, also changed and some of the best items were removed. The amount of information shared was lacking or strange. I asked our dedicated concierge for a spa menu, and she wouldn’t provide one until I met with her in person. They ended up missing out on that money because of that weird rule. We said when we checked in that we wanted a presentation on becoming a member, but no one ever followed up on it. And most strange, the shuttle between the sister resorts doesn’t run on Saturday, and no one told us. The times that restaurants are open don’t match what’s on the map and info they give you. And, they no longer exchange money on site, leaving us in a tricky spot after our card got swallowed by an airport ATM. On the plus side, the staff are great and it was was good to see the same staff are still there. The service was good and the rooms and resort are very clean. Karaoke was fun, and the entertainment at the Grand Salon was surprisingly good.
