You’ll either have to have the ski pass or purchase a cable car pass to get up to the top. It’s a beautiful frozen wonderland up at the top. Kept busy by all the skiers and snowboarders who stay either on the north or south of the slopes. There were loads of people just up there for a hike and there were even dogs enjoying the snow. There is the one and only cafe at the top which look like an igloo from all the ice and snow. that’s your only form or refuge is you go in -24c weather like we did. The cable car ride up was stunning and you can see all the different ski routes from above.
