Even though we gave a rating of 4 for the room, I still feel that it was an overall 5 star experience. The room issue was a financial constraint. Travelling with two teenage boys, I should’ve booked a better room (more room) for more privacy. The hotel offers that but it just wasn’t in our budget. Our service was wonderful. Staff was always smiling and willing to help. Maria from the front desk is an absolute pleasure to work with. Ernesto was the most pleasurable to work with. We had some of the family fall ill on an excursion day and Ernesto did what he could to facilitate a refund. I assumed that we would have lost approx 700 CAD due to falling ill but when you work with the staff they try their best to work with you. The resort is small. If that’s what you are looking for, it’s amazing, I felt safe and safe for the teenage boys to come and go from room/ buffet/ pool and lobby. The bartenders were so lovely and accommodating! We would def go back for another family vacation. Foam party was amazing and highly recommend booking ocean world with Ernesto!
