*warning* Do not book through Priceline! After a 12hr travel day we got to the hotel only to find out our booking didn't exist AND there is no possible way to talk to a human at Priceline if you do not have the capability to call them, and it is NOT a toll free number. Thankfully the staff here were AMAZING and saved the day! Our Canadian family of 6 loved staying here. After staying in air bnbs for a month, we were really glad we ended our trip here! The kids zone " Joyful Land " was the best! The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. We loved the buffet included in our stay as well. The espresso machine, ice cream, cereal and toast bar ( with 5 different types of Jam the same brand as at home) was all such a nice western style treat. We all agree after a month of budget travel, this was the best place we stayed at. CONS: I will say, there is not really anything to do in this town and the taxis take advantage of you because you are staying at this nice hotel. A taxi driver took total advantage of us and charged us 500NWT for an 8 min drive, when our taxi ride from the MRT ( 36 min drive) was 650NWT. So after that we only took Ubers. We also ordered Uber eats or went out for dinner every night because the restaurant's dinner menu did not appeal to us. Overall, would highly recommend coming here for a retreat. The kids had an absolute blast for the three days we were here, and we really enjoyed the clean room, friendly staff, and western friendly buffet.
