I will begin with, this was our first Tradewinds experience and we were not sure what to expect. Would we like hanging with strangers for a week? How small would the cabin & shower be? How long am I allowed to shower? Let’s just say anxiety, and excitement, were fighting in my brain. Once arriving at Nanny Cay a day early (highly recommend) and staying on-site at the resort (again, highly recommend) we waited for our crew at the bar. We followed Gavin to our 60 foot catamaran, removed our shoes, came aboard a beautiful boat and the weeks adventures began! We met new friends from around the US. Our cabin was adequate for showering & sleeping, because why would you not be upstairs with that view? And our crew? Oh my goodness! Gavin was so knowledgeable about the BVI and all our stops and Dewayne could throw down his spin on amazing food options. The Greek chicken was one of my favorites. I am type 1 diabetic, and all food accommodations were made for me! His cooking was superb. So YES, we became Tradewinds members (at 49 years old) and I am excited for many more adventures. Thank you Gavin and Dewayne for a memorable vacation and wonderful experience!
