Definitely not as per the standards of other Sterling resorts. Its sterling only by name. The restaurant service is super duper slow and 60% of menu items are not even available. We have booked stay for 3 days but for 2 days they did not even have dal makhani for vegetarians in dinner. Ultimately we ordered same items as in their dinner buffet menu, yet the order took 1hr on 1st day and for 2nd day they mentioned upfront it will take 35mins for basic dal, roti order. It ultimately took 1 reminder, and 45 minutes to get our order on 2nd day. Taste of food is good though, but service and variety is not upto the standard of Sterling. So definitely not vegetarian friendly. The rooms quality is below average as well despite being valley facing. Not worth the high amount being charged. Not very well maintained. The structuring is weird as well. The kitchen is right in front of toilet. And there is pungent smell due to seelan in walls due to humidity or moisture. There is no lift access to all rooms so thats a challenge as well. Since the resort is nestled in nature, it naturally will see lot of insects and dust due to leaves etc, but there is no regular cleaning of common areas including stairs. Since the time we checked in, there is a used cutlery set kept near the bushes outside our room (by previous occupants maybe), and it has been there since 3 days of our stay.
