The only good thing this resort has got going forward it is the location and architectural surroundings. The pools were absolutely disgusting. There was algae, dead bugs, And dirty Band-Aids floating in the pools. Nobody seemed to care or bat an eye. The only half decent pool was a “VIP pool” In which kids are not allowed to be loud or not allowed to make splashes or do anything that would fall under the category of being “children”. They’re told to just sit and enjoy the view as adults would. Unfortunately, mine had to for a few days because it was the only decent pool I felt somewhat comfortable with us being in. I wasn’t going to risk being in the other nasty pools and getting some sort of infection or skin disease. The beach is just so sad.. nothing around but some hammocks.. no staff to check on you or get you anything either. The staff around are not really helpful. They are very slow, don’t want to help, and barely want to serve you. We never got offered drinks or anything by the pools… it was very self serve. The restaurants were very slow. The lobby staff and people trying to sell timeshare presentations are obnoxious. We had some downs in which the manager tried to make it up for us with a private dinner. Unfortunately, although it was a nice gesture, it did not make up for the lack of service and cleanliness all around. I wouldn’t rate this as a 5 star id stay it’s probably a 4 star property. We stayed in an “upgraded room” Id be terrified if we were in the older side of the resort with a basic room. Overall I won’t be returning. I think majority of these reviews are bots and not real people with real experiences
