The hotel is in an excellent position for walking either into the town or in the other direction towards the Lido area. Very nice hotel with excellent, pleasant, helpful staff. We had a room on a high floor which had lovely views from the good balcony. Rooms are very comfortable and clean, with fridge and tea/coffee making facilities. Good sized bathroom with bath and shower. Pool towels also provided and replaced. Three different dining choices within the hotel and also lots of nice restaurants within easy walking distance. The only thing which would put us off coming to this hotel again was the constant pressure from the Pestana sales team, in the way of promotions and touts outside the hotel.
