My experience with Bluegreen Vacations was incredibly disappointing and felt like a complete scam. At no point during the booking process was it clearly explained that my guest had to be present for the presentation. I own my home solely in my name and live there with my three children. My fiancé, who was listed as my guest, is not moving in until June 6 due to our upcoming marriage. As of now, there is no adult living with me. I explained that my guest couldn’t attend due to a work obligation, yet I was still turned away at the presentation. I was charged for my stay and denied the promised $200 reward. I was met with zero understanding or flexibility, and customer service only added insult to injury with rude and dismissive behavior. This situation could have easily been resolved if someone had simply listened. I could have been marked as single, attended the presentation, and possibly become a customer. Instead, Bluegreen chose to alienate a hardworking individual over rigid, poorly communicated policies. I will be sharing this negative experience to warn others. Be cautious — this company seems more interested in trapping people than in providing real value or respect.
