My girlfriends and I were staying in the neighborhood in November and stumbled upon Mountain Lake Club on a walk and met the lovely owners. We came back later that night to try out the line dancing. So much fun! Then, completely randomly, a few months later, I was going on another girls trip with a different group—and I realized we were staying in the same neighborhood! Which meant: Back to the Mountain Lake Club! This time, it was a Friday night so that meant karaoke - our favorite! Wonderful and fun group of people (I’m assuming locals), super tasty food (nachos, pizza, salad), solid drinks, and a whole lot of singing and fun. This is a gem - I can’t imagine how fun it is when it’s actually warm outside and you can play at the lake! It feels like a local neighborhood bar where yes, everybody knows your name.
