*before reading this is not a reflection of the staff but a mere lack of communication from the resort. It itself is a beautiful resort with big pools* Location- We stayed in this resort for 5 days, upon arrival we were told by voyage Prive a transfer will be waiting for us. There was not. After 5 phone calls including to the resort itself we were not presented with one and miscommunication lead us to pay €280 for a taxi to get to the resort and another €160 to get back to the airport. Upon arrival this resort is in the middle of nowhere I highly recommend getting a hire car if you travel to this resort as the near by village advertised with lots to do has nothing in it and it’s a further 40 minutes to the city of chilka. If you have not booked for the all inclusive this will affect you a lot as I said previously to get dinner/lunch/breakfast it’s a long drive to get anywhere for food. Food- On the topic of food it is cold no matter when u go. At exactly 7pm when food is served it is cold and isn’t great quality. Obviously everyone has different tastes and preferences but kids will be given pasta with red sauce every night and no other choices available. I have an allergy and there is no information on what is in the food just the name. They only speak Greek and French. So when communicating my allergies there was a struggle as the staff weren’t able to identify any food so I ate pasta and red sauce for 5 days. Activities- With any resort keeping entertained is a priority along side relaxing but it lacked activities they have a club called Jumbo but due to their main language being French we weren’t able to take part in any of the activities as we couldn’t communicate. The activity clubs to make matters worse, there was virtually nothing organized for the evenings that included adult activities for example if u want a nice drink at the bar it’s the same vibe as a retirement home as they only have bowls organised to play at 10pm, the atmosphere was dull and not what is advertised in their social media, leaving guests with very little to do after dinner. Overall, I would not recommend this resort to English-speaking travelers or anyone expecting good service, accessible activities, or quality food.
