I love the location, look, and feel of the Margaritaville Island Hotel. Located right in the thick of things, the Hotel offers great views of the Fountains, and an overall view of The Island. The hotel has great relaxed and friendly vibes while also offering elevated Bohemian decor. Also located in the Hotel is the Fins Up restaurant which is where I went this last visit. The staff was incredibly nice. Helpful and just a pleasure to talk with. I was also nicely surprised with the quality of my meal and size of the fare! I had the coconut shrimp and not only were they the largest coconut shrimp I had seen but they were delicious. Make sure you ask for extra pineapple aioli because it is fabulous. The meal also came with french fries which were very nicely crispy. My friend got the Margarita flatbread, And it was a lovely size and absolutely delicious. It was lovely to sit on the back patio facing the river. I did find the inside of the restaurant a bit warm but it might have also been just between air conditioning cycles. The bar was beautiful and looked very nice. My friend ended up ordering the watermelon cocktail and it was absolutely refreshing. We both talked about how we enjoyed our meal and definitely would be back again. So thanks fins up restaurant in Margaritaville Hotel for the great time
