The hotel was clean, but the rooms and carpets and overall interior (except for the sauna area) felt stuck in the '80s or '90s—unexpected for a 4-star "sport hotel." Amenities were lacking: not enough towels (especially the small blue sauna ones which), and they were not replaced during our stay, no free bathrobes (had to rent them), and no water station near the pool/sauna to rehydrate (you had to leave the area and go to the bistro or washroom or your room to refill from the faucet- inconvenient). Unexpected for a “sport hotel”. My biggest issue was the misleading "all-inclusive" advertising—it’s actually half-board with some drinks (we paid for an all inclusive package). re drinks: so for instance you would have to pay extra for a cappuccino in the afternoon as it wasn’t included ). Lunch was just a small and simple packed sandwich if you asked for it (you could eat it in your room I guess) unless you paid the full price of a meal for warm food (e.g pizza). When I questioned the front desk, they dismissed it by saying "every country defines all-inclusive differently," and that they served cake in the afternoon, which was frustrating and not very customer oriented . I don’t think afternoon cake qualifies for lunch. The cake was good but also the exact same 3 choices everyday every day throughout our stay. I’ve been to many all-inclusives, and this was the first where I left hungry. Positives? The staff at the resto was very kind and professional. And the views of the mountains beautiful (but note there are other accommodations in the area) But overall, the outdated vibe, lack of amenities mentioned, and deceptive “all inclusive” marketing make it hard to recommend at this rating and price.
