Thoroughly enjoyed my stay with my family. The whole park looks amazing, is extremely nice and the chalets and cabins are accessible. I stayed in an Apex Spa chalet for my Mum’s birthday and she was able to walk around easily, including the terrace with the amazing view of the water. The beds are extremely comfortable, soft but firm, the furniture new, with accent lighting. The chalet has a 20’ apex ceiling in the living area, 45” smart TV, full kitchen with coffee machine (nespresso? I forget!.. ask if important!) and the kitchen was immaculate, including inside the oven, and microwave. Usual kitchen saucepans and crockery was clean as well. The dishwasher made it perfect! I was surprised that we were only provided with one dishwasher tablet however, so pack a few yourself. The washer dryer was clean as well, but no washing powder was there. I would suggest that they leave a package of two eco wrapped biodegradable washing detergents per three days stay & one eco dishwasher tablet daily as this was their premium accommodation. The chalet has three bedrooms, one en suite with a level access walk in shower and a shared bathroom for the other two. Both extremely clean and tidy, There was a Henry Hoover in the closet though my preference would have been a stick vacuum, which would have been preferable for cleaning our crumbs up daily, certainly quicker than lugging Henry around and more disability friendly. Beyond that outside we had a gorgeous non slip terrace with an enclosed grass garden, a shade pergola over an outside table and a jacuzzi which we didn’t use as there was a storm the whole trip! Wet Wales lol! The highlight was the health centre which was free for guests to enjoy. The dry sauna, steam room and shower (with cold plunge bucket (!) is by the large pool, which has a stepped entrance with a rail, but the real star is the 12 person enclosed bubble hot plunge, with one wall open to the glorious bay allowing the winds and rain to batter you as you soak. A truly amazing feeling in a spectacular setting with the bay just before you.
