A Mixed Bag of Beauty and Blemishes The Royalton Riviera Resort offers a captivating setting with truly beautiful views, providing a picturesque backdrop for a tropical getaway. The staff consistently impressed with their friendly demeanor, contributing to a welcoming atmosphere throughout the stay. We also had the pleasure of attending a wedding at the resort, and the service for this event was absolutely beautiful, showcasing their ability to execute special occasions with grace. However, the resort experience was not without its drawbacks. A noticeable concern was the prevalence of dings and damage on hard surfaces throughout the property, detracting from the overall polished appearance one might expect from a luxury resort. Furthermore, the culinary and beverage offerings were unfortunately underwhelming. While there were options, the food and drinks generally lacked the wow factor, often falling short of expectations for an all-inclusive experience. On a significantly brighter note, the spa treatments, specifically the facials and massages, were truly top-tier. These services provided a luxurious and rejuvenating experience that stood out as a highlight of the visit. In summary, the Royalton Riviera Resort shines with its stunning views, friendly staff, and exceptional spa services. It also proved to be a wonderful venue for a wedding. However, improvements in the general upkeep of hard surfaces and a considerable elevation of the food and beverage quality would undoubtedly transform the guest experience from good to truly exceptional.
