The residence is located in a very beautiful and Scenic region of Normandy, France nestled between a large cliff and a river The residence itself is very well maintained and clean. My wife and young son enjoyed themselves in the indoor pool and the playground area located across the bridge. The surrounding region is extremely beautiful and fun to explore. The staff are friendly and the service desk is very helpful to take care of your concerns and we had a lot of good experiences in the region exploring areas that were recommended to us by those working at the service desk. The room is well equipped with a washing machine for your clothing and a dishwasher as well as a refrigerator. The closet contained basic cleaning utensils so that I could take care of the mess my child made, but it did not have a vacuum cleaner that can be requested at the front desk. The bathroom was big and my son had a great time in the tub. Everything was nice and clean. Our apartment had two separate sleeping rooms as well as a fold out bed from the couch in the living room. (I did not need to use this folding couch and cannot speak to its functionality, but it did well as a couch). I would recommend that light sleepers bring ear plugs not because of any dissatisfaction I had with the room or the insulation, but with the fact that sometimes you may encounter loud guests enjoying themselves late at night... Another recommendation I would have for guests coming with children is to bring a multi-plug power brick so that you can plug in all of your electronic devices and charge everything overnight without needing to unplug the lamps or anything else in your room. Fair warning to those arriving in electric vehicles. There is only one Outlet in the parking lot to Plug in your wall outlet car charger. To clarify, there are no electric car chargers installed at the residence, but there is an electrical outlet for you to plug in your own basic home charger. We were unable to charge on the first evening that we arrived but there was a DC fast charger at the Lidl which is about 10 minutes down the road and this got us back up to 80% in the time it took us to do our morning shopping before heading out to explore the castles and the surrounding region. All in all we had a great time and we will certainly return.
