Spent Easter Weekend in one if the 4 bedrooms lodges with Hoseasons. The lodge was huge and had 4 great sized bedrooms, (2 x double & 2 x twin singles), one bathroom + 1 shower room + one en-suite. The lounge / kitchen diner was also huge. It was perfect for our young grandsons to run around in. The lodge had everything you would ever need, however I would take a bath sheet (Towel) with my next time as the bath towels were very small, & I’d take extra hand towels too. Extra towels for the swimming pool would be needed as well. Sadly I did notice that the floors were very dirty, they had laminate all through. I noticed the black underneath of the children’s feet as they walked around bare footed. So I’d give the cleanliness of the lodge floors only about 2 where as the bathrooms & kitchen I’d give about 4 The beds were very comfy and the sheets were clean & crisp. It took a while to work out the radiators as it was very cold when we first arrived. But once on they quickly & efficiently warmed up the lodge nicely. (Could actually do with the heating switched on prior to people coming). The leather settees were comfy and the TV was good. There was only a few things that lets this Hoseasons complex down and they were, paying extra for the swimming pool (however it was a reduced price) no play park for children, and no permission being given for the little ones to play in the enclosed tennis court (which had child sized football nets available & small basketball / netball nets available). The price to use anything in the tennis court (when it was not being used for tennis) was £10 for half an hour which is extortionate. More provision must be made for children if Hoseasons want to continue selling this holiday for families with young children. It must be said though that the site is quiet & lovely & is surrounded with trees & we saw so many different species of birds whilst there too.
