We wanted to have a family onsen experience that was relaxed, quiet with good food. We got all three of these. With 2 teenage kids, we went with the two room "family room" that came equipped with 2 double beds, two futons and a massage chair! The onsen on the first floor was a reasonable size but the one on the second floor was a bit small if more than one group was in there (the reason I went with 4 stars instead of 5) The food was excellent and beautifully presented. They have spaced out the dining room and staggered mealtimes so that you feel very relaxed. The inner garden is a very pleasant area which lights up at night and can be enjoyed from the lounge, where they offer free drink service, including wine between 7pm and 11pm.
