Beautiful place and affordable for how nice it is. We really liked the hammock in the balcony overlooking the ocean. The rooms are spacious, comfortable and clean, room service cleans it every day and the staff are really friendly and helpful. The only thing is sometimes it feels like the restaurant staff are overwhelmed because it sometimes takes a while for service. The food options are good, highly recommend the grilled shrimp at Luruaco. The spa in the nearby Irotama Resort was also a great experience. If you like cats there's a bunch of adorable and friendly cats around the resort. This in addition to the various wildlife and birds. Would recommend. You also get access to all the other Irotama hotels nearby, which have their own pools and restaurants. You could spend the whole holiday just within the resort area with all the facilities they have. They also have tours you can book from the reception area and transport will be arranged to take you from the hotel and back. There's a few to Tayrona National Park and one to the city. They even have a bus to and from the airport, which was a very pleasant surprise when we landed. We did have to wait half an hour in the bus from the airport, but we didn't mind and we felt safe.
