We stayed at this hotel over the weekend and booked 8 rooms as a large group to celebrate Father's Day. From the moment we arrived—slightly before check-in time—the manager at the front desk was extremely rude and unwelcoming. She treated us with constant discourtesy, spoke to us in a disrespectful manner, and responded "no" to every reasonable question we asked. I fully understand that every hotel has its own policies, and we were never trying to bypass them. However, there is a right way to communicate rules, and making guests feel uncomfortable or mistreated is simply unacceptable. Unfortunately, that’s exactly what she did. She was clearly impatient and unwilling to deal with guests in a professional manner. If she lacks the patience and interpersonal skills required for hospitality, perhaps this is not the right job for her. To be fair, the hotel itself is clean, the rooms are very nice, and the facilities overall are well maintained. The housekeeping staff, in particular, was very kind and helpful throughout our stay—they deserve recognition. But I would not return because no one deserves to be treated the way we were by the front desk manager. After our stay, I read several reviews describing the exact same experience with this staff member, which confirmed that we weren’t overreacting—it wasn’t just us. There’s a big difference between enforcing hotel policies and being outright rude to paying guests. Sadly, she does not seem to understand that.
