We enjoyed a four night stay here, in a room with an ocean view, when we arrived in Montevideo. The hotel is excellently located only a few blocks, and an easy walk from the old historic center. The bar at the hotel creates some nice salads. We travel frequently and shortly after we arrived in Uruguay my wife came down with bronchitis. Getting sick is never fun, especially when you are traveling. The Hotel NH Montevideo was very helpful in easing our anxiety by arranging for the hotel’s on call doctor to visit our room late on a Sunday night. The doctor was very attentive and suggested a chest x-ray at the British Hospital. We drove ourselves over at midnight, the emergency room was not very busy, prescriptions were written, and we were back at the hotel by 2:00AM. There was no charge for the hotel doctor to visit our room. This was a nice service provided by NH Montevideo. The staff is great t this hotel. We highly recommend it.
